Welcome to the 2011-2012 School Year!

We kicked off our first full day of school today & it went better in some ways than I had perceived and worse in others.  All in all, we made it through the day.

This year begins a new experience for us.  Last year's cool new thing was "Work Boxes" (we adapted that style to file boxes and it worked really well).  This year, Sonlight Curriculum.  I have been drooling over their catalogs for a few years and we finally made the financial commitment to give it a try.

I haven't been faithful at keeping up this blog, and I will give it a good try this year to improve upon that to keep you informed.  I plan to blog our journey into the waters of the Sonlight way, which they boldly advertise as "the way you wish you'd been taught, guaranteed."  They even answer the phone that way.  :-)
