From Humboldt With Love (Feb 23, 2016)

This is what all your belongings look like, when reduced to cardboard boxes.
Since we found out that the WCM NWS position was coming open in either Eureka or Monterey, CA we knew there was a potential for a move.  We waited and waited, and the Monterey position opened first.  Brian applied, interviewed and was promoted.  It felt to me like I spent the last few months saying, "goodbye", which coupled with the move itself left me exhausted.  The two years we were going to spend in Eureka became six and we gained a large community and became rooted in our friends/neighbors, homeschool co-op/support group, church, swim team and Brian's co-workers.  Leaving was no easy task.  Much love grew in those six years within our community.

A ginormous thank you to all of you who supported us through those six years, all the laughter, tears, prayers, shared meals, sports practices, meets, home school outings and classes, beach days, Sequoia park, back yard play dates and all the neighborhood support and fun.  You will always have a place in our hearts!
